Great FUN!!!

"When my siblings get together for our annual reunion we've stayed at other hotels but the last time we stayed at the Aku Tiki. We had the best time – between the happy hours, the cleanliness of the rooms and the pool bar...it was the BEST!!! Our last happy "hour" lasted most of the day out at the pool bar!!! What better way to end a vacation?!!"

Great Hotel!

"My family and I own property in Daytona and we like to stay a few extra nights so we always stay here! It is very clean, free breakfast buffet, clean and warm pool, clean rooms, the staff go above and beyond!! The staff are constantly cleaning and keeping up with the hotel. It is by far the best hotel on the strip. Very relaxing for older couples and fun for families as well. Beach access and very pretty well kept grounds! We look forward to going back again next year!"

Best Vacation Ever

"We have never been to Daytona Beach before and was looking for a fun beach vacation. We are so lucky to have found the Aku Tiki! The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The pool area is wonderful. Its great to be so close to the ocean. The restaurant has good food and is so convenient.The Happy Hour is a very nice touch! Everyone who works here are super friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much thyat we are returning again this year. We talked so much about the great time we had, our daughter and son-in-law are joining us too."

Great Family friendly hotel

"We have been coming to the Aku Tiki for about 10 years. We love it there!! We now have other family that come with us because of Aku Tiki. Very family friendly hotel. Clean! Great large pool and tanning area. Tiki bar has the best drinks. The staff is AWESOME!! Can't wait to come this summer!!"

Absolutely wonderful hotel

"Just came back from our vacation. It was our first stay at Aku Tiki. Can't say enough about this hotel. My Mom and I both absolutely loved it. Excellent location, breathtaking view of the beach and the ocean from our room, wholesome people in a staff, always willing to help. We also enjoyed great breakfast and ability to cook our own meals since we stayed in a room with kitchenette (which saved us a lot of money). Our room was very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed spending time by the pool--perfect place to relax. Hope to stay there again, highly recommend to everyone."

Great hotel, great price.

"My husband and I have only stayed here once but will definitly return in the near future. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very clean and very big! They didn't have an "oceanfront" room available so we stayed in a room facing the parking lot, but you could still see the ocean! We were very pleased with our experience and will be staying here again when visiting the Daytona area."

"We stayed at this hotel for my sister's wedding during the weekend of April 7-11. We book right on the Best Western site and was able to secure a deluxe room for under $100/night. The hotel was on the quiet side of town (which was great because the National Cheerleading competition was in town). The room with a stove and refrigerator. The hotel was extraordinarily clean with a bonus of it being right on the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"A clean, lovely hotel right on the sand in Daytona Beach Shores. A grassy area and upper and lower pool deck with abundant tables, lounges and fresh towels. Pool is always clean and crystal clear, surrounded by lush shrubs. Outdoor ping pong, shuffle board and basketball. Work out room with excellent equipment. Superb restaurant and bar with daily happy hour. Management and staff are always accomodating and friendly. Simply the best!"

"Our family stayed a couple of days before Easter. This was my wife and I's first time at the Aku Tiki. My daughter's family had been there before and were highly complementary and I was extremely pleased also. All employees were helpful and seemed to have our interests in mind. The pool was great and the view breathtaking. The Inn even held an Egg hunt for the kids on the Saturday before Easter. The restaurant was great with a two pound crab leg special that was delicious. My wife and I will definitely return again!"

It was very clean (other hotel was not), the view was great and the hotel staff was exceptional! Unfortunately we had a sudden death in the family and could not stay our entire vacation and the staff was so considerate and took care of everything. They refunded us the days we were not going to be able to stay and were very sympathetic with us at such a bad time. We plan on trying our vacation again soon and this is the place we will stay. "My wife and I spent four days at the Aku Tiki in July and cannot say enough about the hotel. Our room was immaculate and overlooked the pool and the ocean, which was enough to make our stay pleasant but the staff, from checkin to checkout were absolutely the best. They obviously know hospitality! Our family definitely will return next summer, hopefully for a longer stay. I did not bring my golf clubs but understand there are some wonderful golf courses in the area so I took some information with me and intend to plan a golf outing in the fall next year for a group of us who usually go to Virginia Beach. The complimentary cocktail hour should help convince them we need a change. Again, thank you to the staff - you do a great job!"
