The rooms are nice and the hotel is ain a good spot for all the shops on the strip. We enjoyed most of all walking out of hotel room and onto the beach. We will be back"

"My husband Frank and I stayed at the inn during the Executive Assistant Conference May 19 - 21, 2008. It was a very rewarding and fun filled stay for both of us. Even though I was in meetings some of the time, the accomdations were wonderful, the staff efficient and courteous. I felt the rooms were very clean and location was good for all we wanted to do and see. We have made reservations at the Aku Tiki Inn for October of this year."

"Had the pleaseure of staying at Aku Tiki for Sheriff's Assistant's Conference and it was wonderful. The service and food were excellent and the setting on the beach is fabulous. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. My room was clean and comfortable, however, I found out after the fact that it was on the smoking floor and for a non-smoker, it was not the best atmosphere. A revamping and cleaning of the entire 5th floor and making the facility totally non-smoking would be great."

"The Volusia County Sheriff's Office hosted the Training Conference for the Sheriffs Executive Assistants from throughout the state of Florida May 19-21, 2008. The comments regarding the hotel have all been very positive. The decor and landscaping are beautiful, the food is delicious, the cleanliness is exemplary and the staff members -- from management down to maintenance -- were helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We had 33 women in our group and every one said that the staff made them feel like old friends or family. They'd like to have the conference at the Aku Tiki every year! You won't find a nicer place to stay in Daytona Beach! Many thanks to everyone!"

"We stayed only for one night but it was a WONDERFUL experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and the view from our balcony was just incredible. The grounds are well kept, the pool was just beautiful. The food was great.
Plan to go back to the area just to stay at the hotel for a weekend because we enjoyed it soooo much.
Can't wait!!!!!!! Will definitely be making this place our weeked getaway destination!!!!!"

"My children and I stayed at Aku-Tiki in September 2007, we felt we had found a truly tropical paradise here,every aspect was perfect.The view was right on the ocean front,bueatiful plants and landscape,multi-tiered with
drop down landscape of greenery,flowers along with furniture to relax and enjoy the right on the ocean view. large shuffleboard outdoors with outdoor bar,large pool,toys,large restraunt and bar indoor bonus happy hour for guests. To top this EVERY ROOM has an OCEAN VIEW with patio /furniture.
The people were over the top in service, so much so that we had never a need to ask for a thing it was always already done. Special thanks to the maintenance man who gave us some converse and updated us on ocean life activity and animals. The whole strip of shores by the ocean also has entrances to drive on the beach, you get the full expierence. the entire daytona beach shores is clean as a pin,so many places to shop just a jot away.
We had stayed at three other places during our visit in Florida, we were only in awe and felt at home at Aku-Tiki,bueatiful.............

"We happen to have a bad experience with a hotel and ended up making our way to the Aku Tiki. Thank God!! This hotel was just comforting. It was very clean (other hotel was not), the view was great and the hotel staff was exceptional! Unfortunately we had a sudden death in the family and could not stay our entire vacation and the staff was so considerate and took care of everything. They refunded us the days we were not going to be able to stay and were very sympathetic with us at such a bad time. We plan on trying our vacation again, soon and this is the place we will stay. Over all just a great hotel!!!"

"2005 was not our first trip to daytona beach and the aku tiki inn, my wife betty and i were there in consecutive years in the early '90's. But in May of 2005 we were there with our two granddaughters and although you guys had a water main break problem....the girls loved their stay at the inn, being so close to the ocean even more than our two day trip over to disneyworld.....hope to see you in 2006"

"My wife and I spent four days at the Aku Tiki in July and cannot say enough about the hotel. Our room was imaculate and overlooked the pool and the ocean, which was enough to make our stay pleasant but the staff, from checkin to checkout were absolutely the best. They obviously know hospitality! Our family definitely will return next summer, hopefully for a longer stay. I did not bring my golf clubs but understand there are some wonderful golf courses in the area so I took some information with me and intend to plan a gold outing in the fall next year for a group of us who usually go to Virginia Beach. The complimentary cocktail hour should help convince them we need a change. Again, thank you to the staff - you do a great job!"
